Luke Ebeling - Race Director

Luke participated in The Frozen Snot in the inaugural year and was hooked ever since. He began to volunteer his time each year until he took over the RD duties from Creator/Sadist/Original RD Jeff Stover in 2017. Luke also established Central Region Trail F(r)iends in 2013.

Once an avid trail runner, Luke currently prefers to spend his time giving back to the trail community through trail work days and volunteering at aid stations. CRTF(r) manages an aid station at the majority of your (other) favorite Central PA trail races, and you can bet that if CRTF(r) is there, Luke is there with his enthusiasm, killer taste in music, and passion for making your race a memorable one. Many trail runners comment that they love CRTF's aid stations because they can hear the music, cowbells, and volunteers cheering them on well before they see the station. Luke is also always willing to lend a hand to friends in need of a training buddy, or to newer trail runners (likely who he has convinced to drink the trail-running-Kool-Aid) in need of a mentor.

Luke enjoys everything about the trail community, but the true loves of his life are his two beautiful daughters, Piper and Harper, who can often be seen by his side while he is volunteering or participating in an event. Luke is happiest when he is spending time with them, on or off the trails.

Luke, we appreciate you for all that you do!
